UI Design Concept

For the UI concept, I decided on a traditional approach to the creation. I wanted to give players a classic experience alongside some new elements. The Health is represented as circles. The circles drain of color when the player takes damage. Depending on the damage, the player could lose one or two circles at once.

 The blue bar represents Mana. The player can use mana for special abilities. The bar will drain respective to the ability the player activates.

 The  Mini Map will serve as a guide to the player as the walk the world. Note the player can only see areas they are in or have previously explored. Otherwise it is an empty map waiting to be written.

 Last but not least The Bag. The Bag will serve as more than just inventory. It contains the loot of the player's exploration. If the loot fills up too much, the player cannot carry anymore. If the player dies with their loot, they must attempt to recover it later. If they do not, it will be lost forever.
